ive allways ran my eq right after the intial signal source, in this case my a/v reciever. i would like to be able to run the eq after the preamp, after the splitter mixer...im afraid, tho, that the signal will be much to hot? running multiple systems from the same source, integrating several eqs, just before the active crossovers. thanks in advance

buy it now! here im thinking , great deal! three altec eqs on ebay, 45 bucks. two 1431 mono, and one 1432 dual channel eqs. one of the 1431's is messed up. when you turn the eq on, the sound fades away. and one of the channels on the 1432 doesnt do a thing either way. is this a common problem? easy fix? good thing i have a spare.
